Laliberte Strategies helps to build relationships between an organization and policy makers to influence outcomes on issues through advocacy before the legislature, government agencies and the public on behalf of clients. Through education and outreach, Laliberte Strategies helps to shape policy decisions that matter most to her clients.
Laliberte Strategies provides support in presentations before decision makers, testifying before the legislature and other public hearings. These sessions include grassroots outreach and strategy.
In March 2017, the Maine Legislature brought forth a LD 848, a bill proposing to make PTSD a presumptive workplace injury for police officers and firefighters. I was asked to testify, with others, on behalf of the Maine Association of Police, Maine’s largest law enforcement Union. I realized quickly while preparing my testimony, that I was in over my head. Fortunately, I had Jessica Laliberte in my corner. Jessica, who is daughter of former Waterville Police Chief Ronald Laliberte, wasted no time joining with me to help create a presentation that strongly impacted the committee. Jessica’s knowledge of the system and topic, coupled with her passion to get involved was invaluable to the success of the bill. I would personally recommend Jessica in any capacity. She is an intelligent professional who knows how to get the job done right.
Thank You, Jessica!!!
